Lutherans Discuss Doctrinal Dispute at Southeastern Convention

In Richmond the Southeastern District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod opened the final day of its biennial convention with a dialogue on doctrinal conflict. Key leaders Mueller and Pruess discuss verbiage of the inerrancy versus historical critical views and the Concordia Seminary dispute that sparked walkouts. Delegates urged dismissal of charges against Teitjen and considered seminary exile issues, while Mueller led restructuring of the district into three departments and reelected president.
