Pete Schulthheiss of 3800 Briarwood Drive, senior sales representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, will be honored during a five day business and educational conference in Acapulco, Mexico later this year. He qualified for the President’s Conference by placing over $3.1 million of personal life insurance protection in 1975, ranking among the top one percent of Metropolitan’s 21,000 sales representatives in the United States and Canada since joining in 1946. He is a Million Dollar Round Table member and recipient of the National Sales Achievement Award and National Quality Award for 1975. Thomas Go Bailey of Thomasville has been promoted to sales manager of Conrad Realtors.
A new Seafood Market opened at 115 doors for business near Greensboro Rd. Owner Herschel Wagner said fresh seafood will be carried, with lobsters available only by special order. The store operates 9 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
