Man Burns To Death In Car In Denver
Roy V. Platz, 57, an engineer at Port Logan Veterans hospital, drove his burning car through downtown Denver to his apartment. He lost consciousness, bystanders pulled him from the blaze, and he died at Denver General Hospital four hours later. Neighbors said he had been despondent since his mother’s death. he was unmarried.

DAR Meeting Opens With 5000 Attendees In Washington
