Missing Coed Tells Abduction and Rape Tale in Asheville
Asheville police report Karen McDonald an 18 year old UNC Asheville freshman from Grand Island New York was abducted held at knifepoint and raped for three days. She identified the duplex apartment where she was held and said a man a karate expert raped her multiple times and threatened her life. A second suspect Louise Bray 17 and her boyfriend Walter Smith 25 were charged with kidnapping and rape.
