Mental center funding bills introduced in NC Assembly
North Carolina legislators introduced over 1 million dollars in mental retardation center funding in two houses. The provisions include 277000 for a medical genetics counseling center and 220000 to expand developmental evaluation centers, plus 189000 for local child health supervisory centers and 169000 for continued support of the mental retardation council.
