Bride Killed In Collision With School Bus Near Hertford

A four month bride Mrs Shelia Marie Hollowell Kennington 20 of Hobbsville died when a school bus collided with an automobile on U S 17 ten miles north of Hertford. Five car passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries. Bus driver Sandra Webb 16 of Edenton Perquimans County and 26 children aboard the bus escaped serious harm. The car occupants were workers from the Westinghouse Plant Elizabeth City en route to work.

Senate Tentatively Approves Liquor Bill Start
