Senate Withdraws Four Liquor Bill Amendments
The North Carolina Senate reconsidered a liquor bill and withdrew four of 16 amendments added to the HousePasser measure. A subcommittee found hastily drawn changes, including lowering license fees and nonprofit private bottle clubs requirements. Burney proposed a private property drinking limit for owners and guests, which was adopted for final action Friday.
