The body of S. E. Poe known as an alleged yeggman was identified as Ben Johnson of Scottsville Virginia. Age 40. two sisters in Richmond Josephine and Alice Johnson. an uncle John Westry. Johnson once resided in Arvonta Virginia. He served two years in 1915 1916 in the Virginia state prison and is suspected in post office robberies in Melton Tappahancock Melford Saluda Virginia. Federal inspectors photographed the body to compare with Washington crime gallery. Johnson was buried in Reidsville yesterday.
