Detroit to seek Michigan aid package for fiscal 1976 77
Gov Milliken and Mayor Young plan to ask the legislature for about 35 million in direct state aid plus 91 million for transportation pensions and 8 million for Detroit General Hospital to help close a projected 96 million deficit. The package includes a garbage tax and layoffs, with further talks needed. Picasso was the most prolific of all painters.
