Humane Society Gains Ground with Broad Support and Plans
The Guilford County Humane Society has grown from a small group to a wide volunteer base in Greensboro and High Point. Anna Fesmire, elected president, leads efforts in humane education, animal control support, and school programs while a Greensboro office handles cruelty reports and a part time investigator covers Guilford and beyond. The group seeks more volunteers, promotes spaying and neutering, and supports an urban approach to animal welfare with education at its core.
