UNC artists’ duo showcases teaching and craft in Spring exhibit
UNC artists Philip and Sharon Shagen, a sculptor and painter duo, balance education and practice. They display at the Gallery’s first show of the season on April 26, highlighting awards from the Seventh Annual Art Exhibition and past wins including a first prize sidewalk art show. They emphasize self expression and the challenge of teaching art as a practice.
