The Women's Golf Assn of Colonial Country Club announced a four week clinic for beginners led by golf pro Coke Trimnal. It opens at 9 20 a m on Tuesday April 8 and will run for four consecutive Tuesdays. The Jessons will be followed.
The Modernette Club met yesterday at Adams Medemh YWCA welcoming Mrs. Robert Wellen and guest Mrs. Sheldon Schnaper. Mrs. Leon Green presided as the invocation was by Mrs. Dee Caddick. Plans for a clinic were announced, Evelyn Williamson Tournament is underway with three 16 hole rounds through April 24, and City Play Day is set for May 6 at Colonial. Committees were formed for the Invitational Tournament May 15-17. Mrs. Jim Walsh is collecting dues.
