Irving Writing Book On Hoax And Worrying

Clifford Irving, awaiting sentencing for conspiracy and grand larceny, works on a memoir about the Howard Hughes autobiography hoax in Westport Connecticut. He, his wife Edith, and researcher Richard Suskind face up to 13 years in prison and $11,000 in fines. Irving hopes his book will help pay debts of about $1.5 million and finish 120,000 words by June 15.

Meany Calls for Savings Pass-Through Amid Price Talks

Boyle Convicted Of Fund Misuse In Labor Probe

United Mine Workers president W A Tony Boyle was found guilty on all 13 counts for conspiring to spend 49250 in union funds on Democratic and Republican campaigns in the late 1960s. Secretary treasurer John Owens and chief lobbyist James Kmetz were acquitted. A sentencing date was not set and appeals are expected.

Harrisburg 7 Jury Tries For Verdict

The Harrisburg Seven jury, after two days of deliberation, seeks a verdict on whether Rev.
