Inquest Planned Over Fatal Shooting In Marshall
An inquest will be held tomorrow into the fatal shooting of Alonzo Norton 37 in a gun battle with Hot Springs Police Chief Paul Catshall. Catshall to face a preliminary hearing Monday on a murder charge. Norton was to be arrested for drunkenness and March 24 Catshall was wounded by a shotgun blast as he left his car. He said he returned Norton’s fire with a pistol killing him. No witnesses reported.

Five Charges Filed After High Speed Chase Near Wilkesboro
A West Virginia man identified as 56 faced five charges after a high speed chase to avoid arrest. His light truck was rammed at an intersection by David Barnes of Berwind Virginia, injuring Mrs Horton and Barnes.
