Presbyterian church in High Point marks 600 members
The High Point Presbyterian church grew from 138 members in 1913 to over 600 under Rev. C. P. Coble, with more than 700 received during his tenure. The 1927 building project included cornerstone lay date April 19 1927 and multiple church committees. Notable leaders include founder Rev. P. H. Dalton and long serving elders such as E. A. Snow and W. P. McCorkle.
