Raleigh dispatch reports Guilford county tops North Carolina in automobile tax receipts with 4708 dollars from a total 76160.40 statewide. Statewide auto registrations reach 18425, up 4920 from last year, with average vehicle value around 600 dollars. Governor Craig pardons Buncombe and Guilford inmates, and other clemency cases noted.
Honolulu Aug 31 a number of the 22 men who died in submarine F 4 on March 25 were found entangled in interior wreckage. One body removed. Rear Admiral Boush announced. Southern Railway announces annual excursion to Richmond from the Carolinas on Tuesday Sept 7 1915.
