Catawba Fair Awaited With Home Coming Day Parade
The Catawba Fair will be held Wednesday through Friday next week at the old St Pauls Seminary grounds on Eighth avenue. A grand parade forms at 10 A M from North Graded School with Hickory militia, boy scouts, fire department, bicyclists, riders, a fife and drum band, and cars. Prizes include saddles, bridles, and cash for decorated autos and best exhibits. Educational and Live Stock days, aeroplane flights, free pictures, and judging contests add features. officials urge attendance for a successful event.
