George Cansler born 1770 died 1830 son of Pioneer Philip Cansler. Father of Henry Cansler who raised a Lincoln County family. Members of Grace Lutheran Church and buried there. She ran a successful laundry serving visitors and cared for the sick with deft nursing, earning gratitude from many. A cheerful, kind woman fond of Bible pictures and children, she preached prudent counsel to her race and is believed welcomed to Heaven with her reward. A FRIEND.
