Stirring Address by E. M Mercer Draws Hundreds at Hershey
Nearly nine hundred men gathered at Hershey Park theater to hear E. M. Mercer of New York City tell of his life and conversion at a winter lecture series in the Lebanon Valley. He urged temperance and a life linked to Jesus Christ, noting that only a few redeemed from former sins and recounting his own baptism by faith. The event featured a sacred band concert, with W. R. Wick directing and G. S. Gee presiding, and a follow up meeting is planned for Palmyra on November 6 with Rev. Rasselot scheduled to speak.
