Hershey Family Meeting Reorganizes Officers at Dinner
After dinner a business meeting led by vice president Ss L Hershey of Philadelphia rejected the former officers. Milton S Hershey was denounced as president and Abram L Hershey as vice president. The next meeting was set for Rocky Springs the last Sunday in August 1911.

Quarry Blast Wounds Foreman Henry Curry in Hummelstown
Henry Curry foreman on Hershey farm No. 2 was struck on the head by a stone from Bradley quarry while a blast occurred as he drove by. The egg sized stone cut deep, bled heavily, but after treatment by Dr. Earnest the wound began to heal without infection. Extra precautions will be taken at the quarry.

Man Killed Near Railroad Tracks In Hershey
William Hemperly of Gravel Hill, about forty, was found dead along the P and R railroad near Hershey after a probable sleep beside the tracks. Coroner John Light reported a fractured skull from an apparent train strike while Hemperly, a butter mixing machine operator at Hershey Chocolate, left behind a wife and three children. burial was at Bindnagle Church.
