The Rev Dr J M Hershey, newly appointed pastor of First United Brethren Church of Harrisburg, preached his first sermon Sunday. He comes from a nine year pastorate at Yerstown and earlier three years at Myerstown. He is a Bible student and leader in youth work, serving as president of the Christian Endeavor branch of the East Pennsylvania Conference and a member of the church extension board. He is brother to I M Hershey of this place and previously led the United Brethren Church in Myerstown.
