Lyceum Course Under Auspices Men's Bible Class
The John Elder Men’s Bible Class of Derry Presbyterian Sunday School will host a Lyceum Course at Central Theatre with four performances: The Fine Arts Quartette on November 4, The Zandorff Entertainers on November 18, Hipple Concert Company on January 6, and The Clark-French Company on February 22. Ticket sales begin October 20 with adults 1.50 and children 1.00, reserved seats an extra 25 cents, single entertainment 75 or 50 cents, reservations 10 cents per seat. Proceeds fund cemetery upkeep, church repairs, and possibly a church fund.

The Palmyra group from the second United Brethren Church held a Saturday picnic at Runkles Grove in the Manada valley. Rev. C. R. Longenecker was honored as he was transferred to another charge at the Palmyra Conference.
