Hershey Olivers Open Season Against Lebanon Independents
The Hershey Olivers kick off basketball on Friday November 29 at the Hershey Men's Club against the Lebanon Independents. New starter Kenneth Stover replaces Nick Purcell with Old Pop Leibfieid coaching. The lineup features Strine and Clark forwards Elliot center and Stover Zimmerman guards. Game time 8 15. Dancing follows each Friday night doubleheader with Hershey girls forming a team soon.

The Hershey Red Cross shifts from U S Army war work to providing clothing for women and children in devastated France and Belgium. Rooms open Thursdays 10 AM to 5 PM for the next week or two, then new urgent work expands. Members are asked to loan sewing machines to the Red Cross, contact President Mrs. Ross Esbenshade. The note follows sermons by Rev Merton S Fales, with Rally Day exercises and a new superintendent Robert Woomer starting work.
