Near East Relief Drive From Local Junior Red Cross
The Junior Red Cross from local schools sent seven boxes of clothing to the Near East Relief Committee in Philadelphia. A committee led by Mrs. A. M. Hinkel has purchased more materials to make new garments for needy children. Volunteers meet Wednesdays at 1 30 in the High School sewing rooms, using three school machines and two rented machines, to complete the clothing.
