Hunters bag two black bears near Elk Grove
Hummelstown men H H Deimler George W Deimler and F C Mordan return from a five day bear hunt near Elk Grove Columbia County. They started from Harrisburg and set headquarters at the Perry hotel. They killed two bears by Monday afternoon and wounded another. A third trio of bears was spotted Thursday morning but hunt proved difficult due to terrain. A Hazleton party also shot a bear at the same hotel. Squirrels and pheasants are reported plentiful in the area.
