Hershey High Commencement Draws Big Crowd
Over a thousand attendees at Hershey High School commencement in Park Theater heard a three hour program of speeches and music. Notable events included the Hershey Band under Director Fesse, the invocation by Rev Linebaugh, class history and will readings, and diplomas presented by President Shenk. The valedictorian William Balsbaugh delivered the closing immigration oration. Later, a baccalaureate sermon by Rev J D M Brown at Hershey Central Theater drew a large homefolks audience with students in gowns taking front seats and a Visions theme emphasizing high ideals.
