Women Visit Chocolate Factory in Hershey Trip
A large group of women attending a Brotherhood of Railroad Plainmen convention traveled by car to Hershey on Wednesday afternoon. They rode from Harrisburg via special cars provided by Central Pennsylvania Traction Company, leaving Market Square at 2 p.m. Guests of M. S. Hershey, they toured the chocolate factory, park, and other town sights. William Strouse led the arrangements, with assistants W. A. Martz W. W. Shope and H. K. Swab.

Large New Mennonite Gathering at Derry Church
Large gathering at the New Mennonite Church in Derry hosted a preparatory examination meeting on Saturday for communion services. Speakers included Rev. Jacob Kreider of Lancaster and Rev. Jacob Lehman of Chambersburg with baptism, communion, and feet washing on Sunday. Elder John Ellinger of Lebanon, over seventy, was baptized. Attendees came from Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties. many out of town guests listed.
