Preparations are underway for Hershey Department Store’s Made in America Sale from June 4 to 16. About $200000 worth of merchandise will be offered at substantial discounts on nearly all items with few exceptions.
Bethlehem Steel Company presents a wartime stage event titled Postponed Brides in Hershey with all female performers except one man. Proceeds benefit the Hershey and Lebanon Red Cross units. Bethlehem Steel covers bringing costs. Tickets cost 10 20 or 30 cents.
Hershey clean up week shows good cooperation and civic duty. Fly menace highlighted. committee urges ongoing effort and swatting flies. A Friday 7 30 meeting at the Post Office precedes a Red Cross benefit at Hershey Park theatre.
