Improvements include removing a central farm house lengthening the course by 220 yards and adding hazards, a new pavilion on the barn site, and ongoing work on the 18 hole course on the big hills with a pipeline laid. Woman of Action A Hershey Farm Fire Burns House
Mrs Herbert Rearick awoke to a fire at the Hershey Farm 16. She rescued four sleeping children and freed cattle from the barn as neighbors came. The house burned with all contents. barn and wagon shed were saved. Donations are sought for the Rearick family and farm manager James Millard. Building insured.

Brown Trout Record Set by Local Anglers
Matthew Wagner and another Bellefonte angler reported brown trout catches along local waters. Wagner landed a 26 inch fish weighing over 6 pounds near his home. A companion on a later trip caught a 22 inch brown trout, weights and full details described as pounds and a half. Both men are noted for their fishing prowess in the area.

Season's First Auto Cycle Collision In Hershey

Lost and Found Restored in Hershey Press Notices
The Hershey Press reports lost items found and returned. A gold clasp located two weeks ago went to its Atlantic City owner. A pocketbook with six dollars and change, listed by Chincde Shifter, was found on the Central Theater lot by G. C. Sheckart and brought in by Mrs. Sheckart. Mr. Shifter gratefully reclaimed it.
