Triumphal Hymns Urged at Funerals
Bishop Granville G. Bennett of Duluth criticizes funeral hymns like Lead Kindly Light as un-Christian and calls moral and spiritual cowards who fear bad. He says redemption concerns life intents, not court verdicts, and hopes for triumphant hymns at his funeral. He notes Gettysburg Park costs totaled 3 381 950.73 dollars from 1864 to 1925. The Agriculture Department introduces a wild peach bud from China.
