Rev. John Irvin Meek is elected pastor of the Evangelical Church of the Holy Trinity in Hershey and will start duties July first. The Hershey church gains independent administration with Meek, who previously led services last summer. growth from 40 to 66 members shows progress across departments. He is 27, a Muhlenberg College alumnus, Mt Airy Theological Seminary student, and will reside in Hershey after graduation. Mr. Brown continues pulpit duties until June.

Reading adds two new trains Harrisburg to Reading
The Philadelphia and Reading Railroad adds two trains between Reading and Harrisburg to meet rising Lebanon Valley business. An early Reading train at 5.00 A M stops all stations to Harrisburg 6.50 A M while the milk and express train moves to a different morning schedule. A 10.00 P M Harrisburg to Reading train will arrive Reading at 11.50 P M to serve workers and evening travelers.

Birthday Service at Association Building Honors YWCA Event
At the jubilee birthday service on March 3 at the Association building 35 club girls led a processional singing Rejoice the Pure in Heart. Mrs M L Hershey presided assisted by Mrs Mumma and Mrs Rentz. The glee club performed two selections and Mr Linebaugh spoke on The Spiritual side of the YWCA. Offerings pledges supported the Grace H Dodge Memorial endowment fund with a request for absent members to donate by March 14.
