Deer Escape at Hershey Park Brings Chase by Crowd
At Hershey Park Sunday Jim Putt reported a deer escape from its enclosure. About a dozen men joined in chasing it back while around fifty waited on the bridge. The deer outmaneuvered them until six broke free and finally entered the building where the pursuers closed in and secured the six. Jim stated the deer would stay inside until the fence is fixed.

The Knockers Dramatic Society Plans Hershey Park Show
Local group The Knockers Dramatic Society rehearses a play set around Hershey and nearby towns. The production features a moving street car, a Union Deposit bridge scene with Hershey Chocolate Company workers, and a Ben Hur like chase with chocolate as a prop. A Dauphin county Dutch dialogue scene, Paris wardrobe notes, and a ludicrous stock of local color are promised with a nine oclock Derry Church scene and a Hershey whistle cue.
