Homer raced against Eppley’s horse along Chocolate Avenue, five heats, all lost by Homer. Decoration Day may feature a Hershey Park race as entertainment.

Hershey residents Howard Rémig Ray Hemminger and Merril Hemminger spent Sunday in Manheim. Cyrus Garian and Miss Mary Gar man visited friends. Joe Tarbell wrote that he signed to pitch for a Montreal Eastern League team but may miss time due to a cut ankle. Hershey Chocolate Company received a pulverizing machine weighing 63 tons. Harry J Haverstick sent 500 geraniums 12 azaleas and 4 acubas for Hershey Park Conservatory. Hosea Waterer of Philadelphia discussed lawn seed for Presbyterian church grounds.
