Miss Pauline Clark Weds Harry Kaley In Hershey Ceremony

Miss Pauline Clark daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Clark of 111 Chocolate Ave became the bride of Harry Embich Kaley son of Mr and Mrs John M Kaley of 121 North Eighth Lebanon. Rev R R Butterwick officiated at the First United Brethren Church before 125 guests from Lebanon Harrisburg Hummelstown Shamokin and Hershey.

Daily Concerts Start Sunday June 20

Under Fred Pronto an orchestra for the 1920 summer season offers first class musicians. The initial concert is Sunday afternoon June 20 with a program of classical operatic and popular numbers. Evening concerts run 6 30 to 7 30 all week promising good music for park patrons.

Park Picnic Season Looms in Hershey Park Plans

Indications point to a record picnic season at Hershey Park with many engagements lined up for June through August. The park, praised for its natural resources location and facilities, expects crowds from Harrisburg and beyond as dozens of clubs schools and businesses schedule outings and reunions.

Chautauqua Season Tickets Selling Fast in Town Campaign

The Ticket Committee led by Rev. R. R. Butterwick promotes season tickets for the Community Chautauqua. The first 500 tickets sell at 2.20 with tax, later tickets at 2.75. Canvassers cover sectors from Java Ave to Hummelstown. Single admissions priced for afternoons and evenings, with child rates listed.

Poverty Social at Trinity Lutheran June 17

The Diakonia Bible Class of Trinity Lutheran Sunday School will host a Poverty Social at the Central Theatre on June 17 with singing readings and a boys’ Industrial School playlet. Traditional foods will be sold and proceeds benefit the class activities. The event invites broad attendance and promises entertainment and value for participants.

Chautauqua Program Set For Park Theatre June 22 26

The Chautauqua season at Park Theatre runs June 22 through 26 with daily 2:30 sessions and 8:45 lectures. Highlights include Boston Light Opera Revue shows, Dr J W Skinner illustrated talk, Therese Sheehan Concert Co performances, Denton C Crowl lecture, and a grand finale concert by Weltman’s Cosmopolitan Orchestra with Ethel Harrington soprano. The Junior Chautauqua features tale tales Indian legends and daily children's events through 11 am rehearsals and 4 pm story hour.

Excellent vaudeville at Park Theatre this week

A strong Park Theatre vaudeville program runs through Saturday with live acts each evening. Lora and Payne perform comedy while The Swanee River Boys deliver a musical act, and Klein and Clifton present A Park Flirtation. Also featured are Jay Raymond in The Soap Box Orator and The Metropolitan Trio plus three women singing and dancing. Movies include The Lost City episode Now and Her Private Husband. Indications point to full houses all week.

The Hershey Gun Club will hold a shoot on Tuesday June 22 at their East Areba Avenue grounds. Two big prize events are planned and all members and friends are urged to attend.
