The Swan and Skylark oratorio received an excellent performance in Palmyra with a 35 voice mixed choir from local church choirs. Soloist Miss Viola Brodbeck of Philadelphia delivered superb arias while H. G. Witmyer directed the high quality chorus and accompanist Miss Ruth Engle led the piano.
