The Fourth produced a superb base ball day at Hershey and Elizabethtown with record crowds. Hummelstown and Palmyra thrilled 10 000 plus spectators as the two games in the Hershey field series drew capacity crowds. Walters led Hummelstown with a circuit drive and two doubles while Keefer, Fenner and Shirk starred for the hosts. Palmyra countered with Keefer’s homer and strong defense from H. Summer Picnic Spread Attracts Tens Of Thousands
