Miraculous Escape as Auto Goes Over Bridge Into Creek
Ammon H. Kreider son of Congressman A S Kreider and his wife escaped serious injury when their limousine plunged from a trolley bridge over Spring Creek on East Chocolate Ave last Thursday at 745 PM. Kreider swerved to avoid a horse and wagon, the car mounted the bridge and fell into the stream. Mrs Kreider dislocated elbow and cuts, Mr Kreider ankle sprained, both treated by Dr Zimmerman before returning home to Lebanon.

An old fashioned spelling bee and entertainment will be held Tuesday evening February 1 at 8 00 in the Central Theatre hosted by the S S Gaines Memorial Men's Bible Class of Holy Trinity Lutheran Sunday School. Two spelling classes for under twelve and over twelve, a General Information class, music readings and a male quartet are on the program. Prizes for each contest will be awarded with admission 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children.
