A large audience enjoyed the Spelling Bee held Tuesday evening at Central Theatre under Trinity Lutheran Church’s S. S. Gaines Memorial Men’s Bible Class. Prizes went to Catherine Cope, Emma Miller, Verna Boltz in the children’s class and Ellanore Claire Wolfinger, Roy Sternberger, Anna Cole in the adult division.

Mrs. Gertrude Townsend Dies in Harrisburg at 52
Mrs. Gertrude Townsend died at Harrisburg Hospital at 3 30 pm after seven weeks with Brights disease. Funeral services were held February 3 at Neely's Undertaking apartments with Rev R H Taylor officiating. Interment in Paxtang cemetery. Survived by sister Miss Minnie Miller brothers Charles Miller and William Miller and son William Kissinger. Resident of Hershey eight years seven as matron at Hershey Inn. Community extends sympathy.

The Hershey Chapter of the American Red Cross will open a new Health Center on February 11 from 2 to 4 PM at the vacated Meat Department corner on Cocoa Avenue.
