During a rehearsal for The Battle of Too Soon the Hershey troupe used a mule named Jerry in a horse shoeing scene. The mule caused chaos with tangled legs and misdirected feet, derailing the act though the animal performed with professional stamina. Crew members debated replacing the mule, until the stables boss corrected the mix up and promised Jerry for next rehearsal.
