Magicians jugglers and illusionists Hendrickson and Rosani bring a four part show to Hershey Theater next Tuesday January 9 at 8 PM. The act pairs magic manipulations rag and smoke pictures impersonations and shadowgraphy with entertaining dialogue. Course tickets admit the event. general admission 25 cents and reserved 35 cents.
On New Year’s Day keeper Frantz Zinner found eleven of fifteen deer in Hershey Park feed while others lay sick. Dr Fox treated the suffering deer. one died from poison. Post mortem confirms poisoning with two of three remaining deer affected. motive and poison type unknown amid prior peafowl killings suspected.
A Goose wanders into a paint shop before Christmas as S J Zentmeyer head painter for Hershey Improvement Company finds the crew late arriving. The scene unfolds with the men just then approaching the shop for work.
A live goose was brought into the Zentmeyer shop as a Christmas gift for Mr. Zentmeyer by his men. The fowl stayed in safekeeping for a New Year dinner as invitations went to relatives in Hershey Middletown Harrisburg Palmyra. The Zentmeyer household hosted a party on New Year’s Day with a traditional feast.
The Society of Derry Presbyterian Church hosted a social at Mrs Fannie Moyer's home in Derry Church. About twenty five members attended after seven thirty and played partner string games. Stunts followed with cake cocoa and home made chocolate drops served by the social committee.

Events include Sabbath at 7 30 p m in the first church with the Kingdoms Ceaseless Advance led by the local pastor. Monies 7 45 p m in the Lutheran Church subject Personal Faithfulness by Rev A S Lehman. Tuesday 7 45 p m at the Methodist Church subject The Despised Church Glorified by Rev and P Dieffenderfer. Wednesday 7 45 p m at the Reformed Church with Gospel Irrigation led by Rev D Burt Smith. Thursday 7 45 p m at the United Brethren Church Our Duty at Home by Rev F A Tyson. Public invited.
Hon Gabriel Moyer of Palmyra presented two English ring pheasants to Harry Haverstick this week. The birds are on display at the top house opposite the Mansion greenhouse and will join the park’s animal collection.
Wednesday evening the employees of the P R railroad in the Hershey offices were entertained by Station Agent E R Mays at his home on Chocolate avenue. Different games were played until about 10 o'clock when, at the call of Mrs Mays, the whole force adjourned to the dining room. This is an annual affair for Mr and Mrs Mays who annually entertain the office force.
