Hershey Christmas Tree Fund Seeks Gifts for 750 Children
The Hershey Community Christmas Tree will be placed on the lawn in front of Hershey Central Theatre. Santa Claus will distribute gifts December 20 at 6 30 p m to children up to age eight in Derry Township and Hershey Industrial School. Each child gets a bag with candy popcorn an orange and a toy costing about 25c to prepare with a retail value of at least 40c. The Toys and candy are donated at cost by local merchants. Contributions are urged to cover expenses and determine how much can be spent.

The Christmas seal sale began November 27 and county tuberculosis organizations in Pennsylvania ordered a record number of additional seals. The Pennsylvan ia Tuberculosis Society in Harrisburg mailed 17 000 000 extra seals statewide, exceeding total 1924 distribution. Colonel Shoemaker says Pennsylvanians are embracing the health message and aiding tuberculosis fight through 1926.
