The new Hershey to Elizabethtown trolley line proves highly popular with almost three thousand fares collected on first Sunday. Narrow escape as horse bolts near Brondd farm
On a Monday before noon Mr Cassady rode home when his horse shied at a blown paper. The horse reared and struck a telegraph pole, demolishing the buggy and throwing Mr Cassady from the seat. He escaped with no serious injury near the Bradley Quar Van.

Injured Carpenter Falls From Bucket at Hershey Press Site
Charles Hekernell a carpenter on the Hershey Press building was raised in a 46 foot bucket when the cradle released and he fell to the ground. He suffered a broken jaw, lost teeth, and facial injuries. He was taken to Reading City Hospital. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Tilekermnell of Middletown.
