First Men's Meeting Addressed By Splendid Speaker
Rev W S Dunlop pastor of the First Baptist Church Harrisburg spoke at the Hershey Central Theatre Sunday afternoon to about one hundred men and as many Hershey Industrial School youths. He urged ongoing meetings to rekindle faith and urged men to take up the work of the Christ stressing character and virile manhood amid worldly distractions. He contrasted fleeting pleasures with lasting happiness found in the Master’s Vineyard. Also speaking were Rev Paul M Kinports Rev A G Nye and Rev R H Taylor with special music by Mr and Mrs Myr Smith and Hershey Industrial School students led by Rev James B McClure who promoted the effort and thanked supporters. Funds covered expenses and left a surplus for a second meeting.
