Car Turned Turtle Near Hummelstown Crash
An eight cylinder Cadillac touring car carrying seven people from South Bethlehem turned turtle at Walton's hill near Hummelstown on Tuesday afternoon. The wrecked vehicle left its occupants uninjured overall though the crash was severe. The car reportedly raced a Hummelstown party and swerved off the road at high speed.

Palmyra Man Struck by Car Sustains Leg Fracture
Jacob Shope aged 63 from Palmyra and known in Hershey was seriously injured last Friday when hit by a Palmyra driven automobile on the Berks and Dauphin pike near Lehman's crossing. He was hurled about 20 feet and suffered a fracture of his left leg.

Carlisle Motor Club members organized the first sightseeing trip leaving Cumberland County seat at 7 AM and passing Harrisburg by 8 AM. Twenty eight cars carried 182 people with stops at Lancaster Ephrata Manheim and Hershey. The 160 mile run included meals at Ephrata and Hershey.
