Narrowly Averted Terrible Accident Near Hummelstown
Mr and Mrs Howard Shelley and daughter Irma escaped serious harm when a motorcycle struck their car on Walton's Hill East of Hummelstown turning the car over. Mrs Shelley was unconscious briefly with slight injuries. others recovered well. The rider fled, later chased by another vehicle but escaped. The incident prompted medical aid and official investigation.

They approved six dollars for the Chinese Famine Fund and planned to attend the Bible Class Rally at Trinity Lutheran Church Friday after meeting at Rev. Taylor’s home by 7 30 PM.
