Hershey High School pupils sell tickets for the Hershey Minstrels to be held Wednesday evening April 28 at 8 15 in the school auditorium. Directed by Paul J. Ruf John F. Snavely and Walter Priestley the program features a chorus of 27 and a lineup of songs jokes and a vodvil including a jazz act with Prof Samuel Currys orchestra. John Hallgren 59 a noted scientist traveler author painter and athlete died suddenly in Philadelphia from acute indigestion while visiting there. Born in Sweden 1867 he lived in Chester Harrisburg and Hershey where he ran a grocery and fish market and earned local fame for sports and business success. He leaves a wife two daughters and two rats with funeral services pending at Mt Joy cemetery.
