The Derry Presbyterian Church held its annual meeting on March 31. Reports show record local contributions of 4278.00 and benevolence gifts of 2030. Membership rose by five, Sabbath School enrollment by 13, and average attendance to 110. Officers and teachers were reelected or appointed including W. R. Esben shade Irvin H. Slesser as trustees, John M. Stoudt J Addison Kyle as deacons, and Ivan L. Mease as Sabbath School superintendent.

Rural 8th Grade Entrance Examination Set for April 22
The countywide test for rural 8th graders seeking High School placement will be held in all Dauphin County high schools on Thursday April 22 1926 starting at 9 oclock in the morning. Eligible pupils must report at the high school they plan to attend. Examinations are prepared by the County Superintendent and results will be reported within four weeks. The State Highway Department awarded three miles of concrete paving on Jonestown Road in East Hanover Township near Shellsville.
