Plans for a four story reinforced concrete building to store and ship Hershey products were drawn. The 100 by 200 foot structure will include a basement and adjoin the present shipping room. Construction starts next week under John Wickersham of Lancaster.
President Taft tells Washington businessmen about placing a Y M C A secretary on a battleship. He notes quiet work among officers and sailors and the potential for the association to aid Navy morale and welfare.
A veteran program aims to expand the Y M C A presence across all U S Navy vessels. If the recent experiment succeeds the effort could place fifty thousand sailors under YMCA influence.
Otterbein United Brethren Sunday School men decided to meet Saturday afternoon to excavate for steps to the parsonage. Dr Hershey L H Hollingsworth Jacob Behm Edgar Jones Harry Gordon Morris McCurdy Rev Romig and others started the heavy work. They faced solid rock and warned against overexertion but pressed on hoping to finish before the show falls.
The Hershey Park field hosts a Saturday April 23 event featuring Harrisburg Technical School against Harrisburg High School in fifteen events. The Young Men's Christian Association Outdoor Sports Committee expects a large crowd with ladies free and men 15 cents, grandstand 10 cents.

C W Stinesprings visited Romig’s party. Townsfolk toured Middletown ruins from a recent fire and others visited Duncannon and Harrisburg for various tasks and social visits.
