Hershey Estates and Local 464 BCWIU announce a two year pact covering all divisions with wage increases of five to eleven cents in year one and four to ten cents in year two. The contract adds vacation enhancements, an extra holiday, and stronger union security similar to the agency shop at Hershey Chocolate Corp. Both sides praise the settlement and plan harmonious cooperation. They also agree to withdraw all legal actions from the strike.

Halloween Parade Time Set For Six Thirty On Oct 31
The Derry Township Halloween parade will begin at 6 30 p m on October 31 leaving School Plaza for Hershey Stadium. Floats costumed marchers and music units will march to the stadium for judging and awards followed by a bake sale outdoor dance and refreshments coordinated by local volunteers. The event is a Derry Township PTA project.
