Rotary Club Plans Yule Decorations for Derry Township
The Hershey Rotary Club announces a Christmas home decoration contest in Derry Township with five judging categories and prizes. A $50 grand prize, $20 first, $10 second, and $5 third prizes apply to each category, plus a $20 prize for the Milton Hershey School unit. George H. Booth heads the project as judges are to be chosen.

Hershey Opens Outdoor Ice Skating Rink at Sports Arena
The Hershey Sports Arena dedicates a new 140 by 75 foot outdoor rink on Friday November 28 at 7 30 p m with Ice Follies figures Oscar Johnson Roy Shipstad and stars present. The facility offers public skating figure programs junior and pee wee hockey leagues and private rentals with instruction by Felix Kaspar and Lois Thomson.

The Hershey National Bank distributed 210 650.50 in Christmas Club checks to 1 985 members last week. The 1959 Christmas Savings Club opened with posters inviting new joiners as the plan spreads expenses through the year and avoids shortfalls at Christmas.
